Traditional Coleslaw
I've become fond of a good fish fry for dinner. Just batter up some fish, bake up some hush puppies, and serve alongside some good old fashioned mayo-based coleslaw.
Coleslaw
adapted from Simple Seasonal
Ingredients:
14-16 oz. bag coleslaw mix
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 heaping Tbs. sugar
1 Tbs. vinegar (apple cider or other)
1/2 tsp. celery salt (or 1 tsp. celery seed, 1/4 tsp. salt)
1/4 tsp. pepper
Instructions:
1. In a medium mixing bowl, combine all ingredients. Mix well.
2. Let coleslaw sit for 1 hour before serving.
